| Subject: Echo 1 AK question... Mon Feb 18, 2008 11:58 am | |
| I recently purchased an Echo 1 AK47 RIS (Vector Arms version) and it is a great replica for the money, but I am experiencing a slight problem with it. The first shot in full auto is always way off target / lower fps generally, it really sucks in semi auto... you dont even put it on semi just because of this. In full auto after the first shot they are pretty much right on target, so I am quite puzzled. Any idea's on what may be causing this problem?
Appreciate any help. _________________ Classic Army MG36 - 2500 rounds of pure fury. Echo 1 Vector Arms AK - 400 FPS JG Bar 10 G-Spec - 520 FPS ICS M4 CQB - 325 FPS (Perfect for close encounters) |

| Its wierd, somehow a Deep Fire piston with titanium teeth and a Systema Magnum motor found its way into the AK tonight... I dont think the 1st shot drop of will be much of a problem seeing as how it will be shooting the 3rd round faster than some replica's cycle their first shot. It is INSANELY high rate of fire... like run out of a high cap faster than you can read this sentence insane.
On the downside, the M14 has been put back to stock configuration and will be selling sometime in the near future to make room for a bolt action sniper. I have enjoyed it, but its time for me to part ways with it. I have a few friends that are interested in it... if they dont buy it, you may see it in the classifieds on here. *When I say stock configuration it means an M120 spring, metal shims, Classic Army motor and a stock Echo 1 AK length barrel. So it still performs pretty well as you may imagine. _________________ Classic Army MG36 - 2500 rounds of pure fury.
