| What do you all think about the new "new topic" icon? I just edited the previous one, turning the main color from a beige color to a darker green color. My reasoning for the change was because I found myself, especially late at night, having to strain my eyes slightly to tell the difference between forums with new topics and those without (maybe it's b/c my eyes are getting old). I thought if we had a two more contrasting colors that it'd be easier to differentiate between the two. The editing process, which is easily done using the picture editing software called paint.net, is very quick to handle, and I can easily make it any color I want. But obviously I want all of your opinions before I settle on one color. I can literally make it any color you guys want, including the previous color of beige if that's what you'd prefer. Don't at all take into consideration my opinion, but really think about whether or not it'd help the forum out, or just be too much "color" and take away from the visual appeal of the forum. Thanks everyone!
Remember, it can be any color - beige, black, green, red, blue, light blue, you get the idea.

| i like it. and i dont think you eyes are getting old because it happened to me many times too. i think the dark green gives it a more military appearance too.

| the green kind of looks out of place, but I am glad that I wasn't the only one straining.
That being said it would be nice if you could do something with the other menus too. I don't know what to call them but they are the links to the actual threads themselves after you click on something from the main page. It is a little hard to tell the difference between those sometimes, but they don't look like you can change them at all. |

As much as I love the green, I have to agree with you on that. It does look a little out of place.. I don't know.
So what exactly are you talking about (I know it's hard to describe the many attributes on the forum)? Are you talking about the icons that look almost identical to the ones I already changed to green when you're actually in the individual forums, or what?
