I say that you gotta start somewhere, right? My first gun was a clear plastic shotgun/pistol combo from Wal-Mart. It was a great starter gun to help me figure out the game was for me. Since then I've purchased a WE 5.1 Hi-cappa, UTG L96, and a CA SL8. You'll start upgrading your replica collection as you go along, trust me Smile

Yeah, my first gun was a CA36c... oh wait. Very Happy

BUT my second gun was an Echo 1 M14!!! That is closer. cheers

You are on the right track, just read up on the forum and absorb the knowledge in its contents. I am sure you will do just fine in the future... here is the bolt action I use, which has some great features... namely the fact that it is 100% TM VSR 10 compatible, with a few free upgrades (airbrake mod and teflon mod) you can get it at or over 450fps, and it is pretty darn lightweight.

I would HIGHLY recommend it as a good entry level sniper. The scope package is actually a pretty good deal as the scope that comes with it is pretty decent. The G-Spec version, which I have, has a shorter barrel and a mock surpressor, but as I have written you can use this to your advantage and make it really quiet after you make the surpressor functional. Very Happy

Downside is you will get more velocity out of the non G-Spec model... but it is much louder.

yea, well my first gun was a springer pistol, so i blew you all out of the water with that one! still wish i had a better gun though.....

Everyone starts somewhere... I mean i had a walther james bond p99 spring pistol as my first gun.. So, after a while, you can save up, or work, then buy some nice guns/

just make sure that you dont get really bad springers. i made the mistake of getting an AK that was absolutely miserable on the battlefield, and i had to live with it for a long time

haa, for me... I started with a clear plastic shotgun from walmart... I think I had to pay about 5 whole dollars for it. Man, that hurt the wallet. Then I had to buy these crazy expensive orange BBs too.
Airsoft = Expensive

I bought a 15 buck that wasn't worth it M-15 with no stock and tape holding it together from my friends little brother My first gun from then on I was a sniper with my old M-15 but I only used it for about three small backyard wars then I upgraded to the UTG L-96 that I have got now I knew something was wrong when you walk into some on's house and there is pieces of airsoft guns laying everywhere true story .

my first arsoft gun was a 20$ mini-uzi piece of cramp.then that pistol in the pic above,i know, sad isn't it? but now i getting a M16A4. like said many times before me,everybody has to start somewhere

Yeah from 5 to 500 and still spending I used to never spen my money usually spending other peoples but now that I play airsoft I am spending money like there is no tommarrow and there may not be .

Nice alabama_sniper. That is really true. Airsoft seems to be a bit less expensive as compared to paintball, but then you just keep finding more and more stuff you have to have. My friend and I usually force each other to buy stuff. We call it "twist your arm airsoft" lol

I feel like every time my buddies and I have a war I have to have a new gun wheiter it be a rifle or a pistol but it has to be better than they have and what I had bfore more importantly what they have and I love it whenever they fight over who's on my team during one of my , or our skrimmishes , O and I know that skirmishes isn't spelt right .

lol when i played backyard games i used to play a couple of those kids. that whole time i only used 2 guns. i used a marui spring glock that my dad got for my mom, and one of those super somthin shotguns. the shotgun had a broken feed mechanism so i had to load it directly down th barrel. ahhh good times when airsoft was cheap............. ye and those days are gone now Smile

Better the shot,the more expensive the gun gets....that really hurts the wall for a kid with no job....THAT SUCKS!!
