| So Ace, I am thinking we should recondsider the Marpat paint job This one just looks too sweet. We could definetly rock this after we painted the SPAS 12! What do you guys think of this paint job!?!

| thats pretty cool, but personnlly i dont like the digi paint job on guns. you might want to wait until you get some Marpat BDU's too. Despat(desert marpat) would be cool.
i think you could do it, that woodland camo job was sweet. good luck

| I figured this was cool enough that Ace should consider it as he wants to paint his M4. I don't think he'll go this far, but our team I believe will be all MARPAT. It is well done though! I think we are both looking for more green on our guns then anything else... Mabye we'll do this, but with more green (AKA: CADPAT). Thanks for the comments on the SPAS paintjob. I am sure that ACE could pull off this one too. I just cut and held the stencils lol. He primed and sprayed. |

| When I was at Blind Fury I saw a few digi-painted guns... one in particular was a G36c. Obviously that one stood out seeing as how I was using a G36c as well. While it did match his camo really well, it kinda looked funky and out of place almost. Sort of made it look like a toy, which in a way it is, but you know what I am getting at.
Maybe it was just his. _________________ Classic Army MG36 - 2500 rounds of pure fury. Echo 1 Vector Arms AK - 400 FPS JG Bar 10 G-Spec - 520 FPS ICS M4 CQB - 325 FPS (Perfect for close encounters) |

| | the marpat pictured above or the SPAS 12 we've painted? Both are supposed to be for woodland obviously, but I think I can follow you with the marpat seeing how it can appear primarily brown. MARPAT actually came from CADPAT (CAnadian Disruptive PATtern) which was made first by a retired US general (O'Niel I think). I like this CADPAT better then the above pictured MARPAT b/c it has more green. The MARPAT used by our military, looks a little too brown for my taste. |

| Paint the gun the relative pattern to the camo's you primarily wear. woodland gun, over woodland camo is a good thing. MARPAT over MARPAT also good. The outline will be completely broken up more-over. the gratest pattern over a Jacket of a differant pattern.

| | Stencils, its really not that hard. I should note that this is not my gun, but you should already know that if you read the thread before posting. Painting a gun isn't really that hard. It all boils down to good prep work in cutting your patterns and finding patterns that you like. And then being patient and not over applying paint. I am willing to bet after practicing on a being of scrap material of your choosing, you could do just as good if not better than the above paint job. No joke. It really isn't as hard as it looks, just a bit time consuming. |
