JG V3 450 FPS Full Metal Gearbox 614-RIS CQB AEG Rifle

Should I get this rifle, it is from airsoftmegastore and i have $150 plus a $50 gift card so I am going to get my rifle there. Are there any other good rifles which are worth buying? thanks.

Looks nice! However, is there any other sites that have that particular rifle? I have bought many things from airsoftmegastore, for instance my Galaxy MP5 PDW, and it came with the front sight detatched. This was nothing a little super glue couldnt fix, but what i'm trying to say is that airsoftmegastore does not have a return policy that i am aware of. So, nice gun, but i would not buy it there unless there is a return policy, which i believe there is not, correct me if i am wrong.

well i am only going to buy from there because my grandma got me a $50 dollar credit there because that is where all of my other friends got thier guns and i fell in love with them

I ordered my jg g3 t3 k1 from there and also got a extra battery. Well I ordered the wrong bettery and it was a small type so my dad got on the phone with them and worked things out. They paid to have it shipped back gave me store credit to the store and only made me pay the difference on the two batteries even though it was my fault. Great group of people and very understanding.

Ehh it's not a bad gun. I like JG guns, and according to the gun's sales page it's a brand new version. They've only gotten better over the years. I too am a little worried with AirsoftMegaStore's setup, but since you don't really have much of a choice, and you have had good experiences with them in the past, I'll give you my recommendations for them anyway.

The gun you're looking at looks like a solid deal. I'm not sure why they put in huge bold lettering "450 FPS" in the title, but in the actual description they say "400 FPS." It also does not include what weight BB they're firing during these tests. So I'm not sure how reliable their descriptions really are. If this gun is really firing between 400-450 FPS, make sure you know the FPS limits of local fields before buying it. If you're planning on playing in local games/tournaments, more than likely they'll have an FPS limit around 350-400 FPS for AEGs. I'd hate for you to miss out on an event because your gun's shooting too hot.

I like the 614s though. I about purchased one last year, but went with more upgrades to one of my current guns instead. Unless you're really wanting to, you also won't need to worry about upgrades anytime soon (another good benefit). It already comes with a battery and charger too, so that's nice. If I could recommend one thing though - buy a smart charger for around $30. It's well worth it and will save you the hassle of timing your charges and losing battery capacity. If you like the looks of the 614 over the M4, G36, Mp5, and AK47 variants, then I say go for it!

Another thing that worries me is the battery. Every review that i've seen say its a pain to put in.

Is this a bad type of battery, it looks strange.

I think that it was just made to stuff into tight places. Im not sure how easy it is to use but I have this batterie only in the normal form and it is alright.

If you can wait a little while longer with your purchase, I would.

Since Echo 1 has bought JG, their standards in production and reliability are going to Improve, Echo 1 has taken the best guns from JG and improved on them, and is now in the process of doing the same with the rest of their best sellers, it won´t be long before you see the JG series of guns out performing the CA Sportsline hands down.

When did they buy out Jg?

Ya I noticed with the g3 series that they put better upgrades into the stock model and they have also raised the price alot. They have also come out with more versions of the gun. I wish I would of waited a little longer to get my rifle lol.

the battery is not to difficult to put in.
