M14 or SR25

i am in the $200 market for a new m14 or sr 25 i have found the sr 25 but not the m14 i would like it to have good range,fps under 450,accurate.scope rails, and somewhat light weight

If you cannot get a TM M14, I would go with a CYMA M14. Its TM compatible, TM mags need a little sanding but at least your not paying $30 per Midcap. They run really cheap, about $220 for the new versions (which are great!).

I cannot find any of the older versions in stock anywhere, but if I do I'll let you know. A friend got one to see if he like M14's he might be selling it. I'll PM you if he does.

yea i thought long and hard about an sr25 but when i shot my friend panics m14 it was chemistry now if i were to buy a CYMA would i be able to get an ACU stock for it? i am asking this because i'm am redoing most of my arsenal in ACU

It can be upgraded with most TM M14 parts without mods.

About the ACU stock, if you can find one you could probably use it. Camo wrap would be much more effective though. Also if you plan on replicating US ARMY, then I wouldn't get the stock. The units that were issued M14's either had painted stocks or used wood stocks(most of these units were NG, or reserve units).
