Huge close call

so a couple of my friends and i went our to my land and we started to have a skirmish. I was a sniper but i was in the attakcing team who was attaking the forrest from a field of grass and stuff. so i had just hit one defender and was aiming at another one and pulled my trigger. the BB flew through the air and hit my target right on the glasses. it was a 1 in a million shot, if he had not been wearing glasses i would have blinded hit and if i had shot like 1.5 inches down i might have killed him. so., ALWAYS WEAR A FULL FACE MASK AND GLASSES!!!! my friend would have looked like this:

does any 1 else have any close calls?

I don't wear full face masks, but with full seal googles you won't have to worry about anything.

I use a mask
1, because it's sager
2, because I've had too many close calls
3, I value my teeth
and 4, because mine is painted awsome haha

If I were to were a mask, I would cut out the right check so I can see my optics better.

Or you could get one of the flexible plastic/rubber ones. I can use my optics perfectly with them on and they still provide a ton of protection. Or wear a neoprene mask.

Neoprene is my thang!

Honestly for my situations Neoprene masks are not an option(glasses), but mouthguard and nice goggles do the trick very well!

Well sticks, they do make neo masks that only cover the lower half of your face, basically from your nose and lower. That would work with goggles or glasses. I don't know much about mouthguards but wouldnt that effect yelling and talking and stuff? Just wondering.

Hmm thats interesting. It would still get in the way of my Mic though(I tape it too my cheek).

You just need to boil and mold the mouthguard, you may talk a little funny but people seem to understand me anyways.

I am blind in the left eye so I use the best goggles I could they fit anything

I forgot the type though oh and a good mouth of teeth will help me in buissiness so good ideas with the mask but they don't work as well with me

some of you guys mention neo masks. do they work as well as plastic masks??

My teacher's son got hit in the eye once....he had to have surgery and wears contact lenses for the rest of his life.

and I can't have them my eyes fluxuate sizes and pressure so.......

and I can't beleve some airsofters(new) tried to use pool goggles and they use them reguarly

i am such a lucky idiot. i once got hit in the eye with a pencil that was thrown through the air in the hallway one day.

Guys I know what u mean. My friend got hit litterally 1 centimeter from his eye because he decided it would be funny to run aroung with no gogless while his buddy shoots at him. His friend was supposed to shoot with a crappy sping m9 but then decided to pull out his CYMA AK. They are retarded.
