I am going with AFU. If the emperor had not surrendered the war would have gone on. If you haven't read the book Flyboys by James Bradley it talks all about the Pacific War and about how the Japanese felt about the war. Its an amazing read, really opens your eyes. Flags of our Fathers as well by the same author was amazing.
