Patrol Caps Or Helmets?

Just wanted to see what you "larrys" thought about these choices

Helmets! Especially your WWII one! Love wearing that thing.

i wear a helmet which i have to fix because i bought a cheap one and the straps broke

I just wear a Marine Corp baseball hat its camo so it blends with the rest of my camo. I might be getting a helmit though I want one.

yeah i have my USMC patrol cap ( woodland ) i love it, i have a WW2 helmet fun for when its raining

I had a boonie hat which I still do somewhere. It was awesome if you wanted to pull off that serious sniper look but didn't want a ghillie.

Ghillie's are limited and for nick diamandas

I use a few different combo's, it really depends on my mood or the temp outside.

Winter: Black Cotton winter "night watch cap". I forget the real name, but thats what GI Joe used to call it!

Spring: I used to wear a tan baseball cap, but I grew out of it last spring. I'm currently looking for a replacement... I'll probably end up with a more Tacticool version(velcro and all).

Summer: Nothing most of the time. If its under 90 I would wear my baseball cap or an Od bandanna thats left over from my paintball days.

Fall: same as winter, or bandanna if its warm enough(we have late summers sometimes).

I am going to grab a Mich 2000 here pretty soon, as my favorite field is starting to get allot more buildings. These buildings are usually the focus of many firefights/objectives. Getting shot in the head from a few feet away hurts....

i chose other, i use my shemagh in the summers and my shemagh shaped bed sheet cut out in the winter lol

so basically shemaghs of different colors

then again i did just get them (shemaghs) so ive barely used them in combat, up untill now i rolled without a hat or anything

I would use a helmet for cqb and i use a boonie for field play.

Im probably going to grab a helmet in the nearby future

All depends on what I am imitating for the day. I usually check and see what the weather is going to be like and what type of BDU's I am wearing. I have a real kevlar with 3 color desert cover and two light weight replica kevlars with marpat woodland and regular woodland. Have not bought the ACU bdu's yet so no ACU helmet cover. When I play Special Forces type of game I wear boonie or patrol cap. Sometimes tan ballcap with desert color camies for SF in Afganistan. And Black watchcap for night recon. I just love getting dressed up! Don't you?

Shemagh or Bonnie or Contrator Cap it all depends of course.
