PostSubject: Buyer/Seller/Trader RULES AND REGULATIONS   Wed Feb 06, 2008 5:16 pm

Here at Airsoft Forum 2.0 we want to give our users a chance to buy and sell their guns to and from other members of this site, all for FREE! An epidemic that seems to be spreading through the entire population of airsoft enthusiasts is the never-ending need to continually upgrade and expand their airsoft collection. It is also evident that most of these hobbyists can't afford to be purchasing all these guns without selling off portions of their current collection first. This is where we come in.

If you're interested in one of the listed guns, please contact the owner (through PM, email or reply) to show your interest. Remember, we're simply a third-party to help get these guns out on the market, we won't necessarily know anything about the user or his gun up for sale. However, if you want to know more about the make and model of the gun, shoot us a message and we'll get back to you quickly. Also, if you do have an issue with a seller/buyer, please contact us and we'll see if we can help you out in any way possible! Thanks!

It is expected from the staff of ASF 2.0 that you'll take selling your items on this forum very seriously. By posting an item up for sale, you agree to include only information that is 100% accurate, and that you'll leave nothing out. If there are any scratches, missing or broken pieces, or any other pieces of information you know the seller would want or need to hear about the item up for sale, you MUST include it in the description. We'll take all complaints about sellers seriously and if it's found that a seller is misleading/scamming/lying to other members, their account will be deleted, and will not be allowed to make any future accounts with ASF 2.0. At the same time, we'll do our part and really research each situation carefully as to make sure sellers are protected as well from buyers who are doing the misleading/scamming/lying.

Here are some general rules to follow with the Buy/Sell/Trade forums:

1) Please do not post email addresses in your posts. We have several ways people can get a hold of you, most of which can be accessed through clicking on your personal profile (PM or email). Please make sure you allow PMing and that you have your email address accessible on your profile page.

2) Sellers must post an asking price, unless the item is up for trade only - which must be specified in the Topic Heading.

3) No Bashing. There will be no complaining through replies that the price is unfair, the gun is junk, the paint job is ugly, etc. Just use your common sense with this one. Whether the person is asking a fair price or not, don't interfere with his/her sale. Throwing out a fair offer is not the same as complaining the price is unfair. Just have respect for each other. If you have a problem, take it up with the seller through PMs.

4) One Bump a Day: There will only be one "bump" a day allowed. If you're wondering what bumping is, it's when a seller will write a short message (for example, "bump") as a reply to his/her own thread, causing the topic to move to the front of all the previous topics on the main page. This is very annoying to other sellers, so this rule will be strictly enforced.

5) Finally, when your item is sold, please contact a moderator or Admin stating so, in order to make sure the thread gets closed within a reasonable time after that sale.

We all thank you in advance for following these guidelines.
