A Good video

I found this video while playing world in conflict and found it later on youtube
enjoy by good I mean the way the company created the video

background of video:
1989: The Soviet Union has went through the berlin wall and is quickly spreading. The US and NATO are trying to fend off the Soviet advance. While securing a Soviet Submarine pen your battalion finds plans to assault New York city. The soviets control all 3 of the islands next to New York, including the island with the Statue Of Liberty. In the video the first group of US defenders tries to assault one of the islands, Buy due to bad intel and the Soviets capturing US vehicles many lives are lost in the first assault.

Also the video sends a shiver down my spine when the Helicopters cockpit is hit because of what happens to the soldiers

Political, but to show you what Regonaomics did.... Well lets say the way he spent money might have put us in the financial trouble that we are in.... Adding Regonomics would only put the US in further debt..... Also you can thank a Senator by the name of Charlie Wilson for bankrupting the Russians.... Well him and a CIA operation....

The vid was pretty cool, I definitely will look into this game.... I don't know if the whole idea of having a heli assualt would have been the best idea in that situation but it sure made a cool video....

the Soviets are gone, and that's all that matters, IMO. one less country to worry about. the Soviet government had been collapsing for awhile, but Reagan pushed it over the edge.
and Charlie Wilson did beat the Soviets out of Afghanistan, but i don't see how that could have caused the entire collapse of the Soviet Union. sure, it did attribute to the overall picture, but the Soviet loss in Afghanistan was not the cause of the collapse.

yeah, the Russians are getting back to all their old cronies just like their good ol' days. and, now they're invading Georgia. next, they're gonna want the Ukraine, and all the -stans.

Why wouldn't it? Afghanistan pretty much ruined the entire Russian army.... Which might I add was their largest military branch, so I would say that Regan didn't push the ruskies over the edge, charlie did with the help of the CIA and the Mujaheddin. IMO Regan just had a money pissing match with the Russians, which strengthened their military forces.... Afghanistan crushed the military forces stationed there, which was practically the whole army was killed wouded or deserted by the end of the war. It was the "Russuian Vietnam".....

Also technically Georgia invaded a Russian ally and then Russia invaded South Osetia(sp?), who sided with the Russians..... So its kinda both sides invading each other simultaneously.....

In the video the chalk that went in had no idea about the islands being so heavily fortified.
the islansd had more equipment that US soldiers so when the soviets came in it was rather easy for them to get ahold of it all. The second assault goes in by the water surrounding the islands

I have soviet assault its just 6 missions but still fun

i'm buying it next chance i get. Don't use the Lord's name in vain., what a great game. better than COD4, in my opinion. (yes, i have played it)
