| i believe there are a few factors here.
1. functionality
there are not many upgrades and replacement parts for the JLS FN 2000, but if you go into a airsoft shop, you will have to kick parts for the M16 out of the way so you can walk. it is also hard to find accessories for the FN 2000, such as grenade launchers, tac lights, etc.
2. loadout compatibility (excuse the crappy title)
the FN 2000 is only used by several small militaries, or militaries whose gear is hard to find. for example: it the main infantry rifle of the Pakistani military. try to find Pakistani military equipment. the M16/4 is used by many militaries.
