Two Fold Question!

Ok guys;
1st: Is there a way to shorten the barrel on a G36K so I can buy the hand guard for the C and convert it into one, Im getting tired of the extra length...
2nd: can you direct me to a good "gun tech" site so I can start learning how the guns work, I know disasembly, but I don't know "tech"

If the outer barrel can be removed i don't see why you couldn't get a 36C outer and inner barrel system and then a shorter hand guard.

Um, well converting it will be pretty easy, you'd probably just have to go out and buy a G36c Outter/inner barrel (maybe get a tightbore if they have one) and then get the new foregrip.
Unfortunately I was only able to find G36k conversion kits, so you could try to find a G36c outter barrel but i couldnt find one of those either.

Little pricey but it is a RIS system and it comes with some extras. All you'd need then would be an inner barrel.

The length does take a bit of getting used to, aside from that, I have to ask,

Why ???

The `` K ´´ series offers some phenominal accuracy, and that from most of the manufactures.

It is a super dual purpose set-up, if it a problem because of CQB, throw on a folding stock, only slightly longer than an M4.

Just my opinion, feel free to tell me to take a long walk of a short pier.
