Airsplat

well i was wondering if airsplat is a good place to get guns from, some of my friends say that it is, while others say that its crap. i need to know where to get guns that are reliable! please help!!!!

Well you'll definetly wait a while for shipping and everything, I hear it takes a long time to ship everything, guns, ammo, and what not. They really don't have a fast customer service. It is a good way I hear to get cheap guns, if your really really patient.

Dident you already post this in "Ask A Pro" When the Mods find out about this there probably going to lock one. Now the Mods are cracking down more than before.

they have a 3 day warrenty, which is why i don't really like them.

Not to mention that the 3 day warrenty includes the shipping. So you pretty much don't get your gun until after your warrenty is up.

Well for me i got great customer service. They sent me a gas rifle the o ring broke the first day, so i sent it back they sent me another one. That one broke so i finnaly just got a different gun it was a little bit cheaper but all the left over money i got back. Plus on my AEG I burned out the battery so i sent the gun back and they sent me another. Great customer service, everything ships in a week, but you do need to research guns a good bit before buying from airsplat because they do have some poor quality goods. Honestly i like Airsoftgi.com more because it is easy to get around the site and they sell good quality items. Oh and waranty does not start counting until you get the gun and if you break within 60 days of receiving it you can send it back and they will fix it.(im talking about airsplat by the way)

ya, i hear that like one week they'll send you the upper reciever and the next week they'll send you the lower, its horrible.

anyways back on topic, I just figured out, they have decent customer service. It its a way to get cheap guns, just you have to be really patient.

shipping for airsplat is a bit ridiculous too. i just wanted to order one magazine for my gun. it was like 12 dollars shipping. more than the magazine was even worth. (i live in the u.s. too, so customs or int. shipping taxes etc)

i got my first gun there I still have it 2yrs later ihrmmmmmmmmmmm (BE AUG) it was 14 or 15 $ shipping and handleing and took 5 days to ship from california to pennsylvaina i give them a 4.5/5

go threw airsoftgi my friend ordered a bar10 from airsplat and he waited 3 weeks it never showed up because they just took the money so he demened a refund and got it from gi

they are fine you guys, ive never had a problem with them, airsoft gi is too pricey, airsplat has good prices and good guns, get over it. 4.8/5

Not a myth they really are bad to deal with. I ordered a lot of things from them when i first started playing, yeah their prices are cheap but they have poor quality issues from my experience. I've had several broken bags of BB's due to them just throwing them in a box, a broken mag, and of all things a used mag that was scuffed up and had .12 BB's still inside. They also never gave me a discount they said they would give me for being such a good customer.

As for a myth that they are terrible, its not so much a myth when it really does happen to you.
I know quite a few people that received broken/used stuff that airsplat delivered to them.
Actually Spl. Durkee has a hilarious story on airsplat i think he should share...

Well in my personal experience, AirSplat is fine... but hearing all these bad things, I'll stay away and order from ASGI now
