| Welcome to AA!
I'm a blogger myself, although not for airsoft, and I just wanted to give you some tips since you're new to the scene:
-Spell check, use propper grammar, and watch language.
-Format, format, format. When writting, make it an easy to read layout.
-Don't bother with "promoting". Paying for advertisement to get members is ineffective.
-Visuals are everything! Sometimes pictures DO speak louder than words.
-Speak formally. You're representing yourself and the interest.
-Stay off "hot topics". You never know who'll be reading.
-Rants are a turnoff. Readers don't like em and neither does your keyboard.
-Back up fact with commentary.
-Back up commentary with fact.
-Stand by your opinions. Nobody likes a swaying blogger.
-Choose font/color wisely. Make sure it's perfectly read-able.
-Maintain! Blog on a regular basis, not just when you feel like saying something. By then you will have lost readers.
-Shoutout! Readers appreciate recognition.
There are a number of airsoft big-leaguers around here:
Carp (from CQB Radio)
John (the man behind Scoutthedoggie)
