Standardize testing?

Soo for the last 3 days I have been having to do standardize testing, it stops tomorrow then starts up next week from Tuesday to Thursday.

and pretty much it's 3 tests or 4 depending on the grade your in. It covers Math, Reading and Writing, and Science depending on what grade your in. All it is 3 math tests that you get 60 minutes on, you take 2 a day, it's 6 reading and writing tests, again you get an hour on, you take two tests a day till they are all done.

All it does is shows how much the students have learned over the course of the year, if the school get does well more money is granted, by the state to the school to keep improving learning.

Since Colorado has high standards you need to get at least a proficient which is higher then most other states average learning, then satisfactory is Americas average learning level.

So I was wondering if any other states have to take something like my CSAP were it's standardize tests.

Since No Child Left Behind all states have mandatory standarized tests..which in my opinion are a load of crap becouse now your teaching to the lowest common denoninator

yep it's pretty retarded, but I have to do good due to the fact it goes on my transcript and could "Watch your language" me out of a collage education.

I don't get how thats fair I do good, then the school gets money, and I have to pay for my own collage, if I due bad, I will only be able to get into a lower grade, 2 year collage, plus the school doesn't get money, and theres nothing I can do about it.

Plus math was a "Watch your language" because I was in honors first semester, and then got put in the regular math so I missed about 3 months of things I should of learned so it was just mad guesses for me.
