Where can I buy a shaded/darker lens (the one I received with my pair was clear b/c I got it on Ebay)?

Look around at winter sport shops. You know, the ones that sell like skis and snowboards and snow gear. Even Big 5 would be worth a shot.

What? I don't think we have those here in not-so-sunny New York... But we do have a lot of winter sport shops, I'll look around.

Theres also the DIY option. That window tinting film stuff works like a charm. Just cut out a piece the appropriate size and stick it on! Real cheap, real effective, and real good protection. You can find whole rolls for less than $10 at most auto stores.
