PostSubject: Im Sorta Back. . . But into different things.   Wed Mar 24, 2010 6:55 pm

Well i haven't been on here in awhile mainly because im not into Airsoft as much as i was. Ive kindof lost interest in thw whole military thing and im thinking about selling a decent amount of my stuff including my SR-25. Ive gotten alot into my model railroading. For those who remember I had started posting videos on youtube and still am, here http://www.youtube.com/user/PRRK4Lover?feature=mhw4 . Im somewhat planning my future now and may work on the railroad. Seeing as im going sophmore next year i need to start thinking. i may go here http://www.altoona.psu.edu/academics/iac/IAC%20Railroad%20Briefing%20March%202007.pdf http://www.altoona.psu.edu/now/news.asp?value=2153

So im just telling everyone that im still alive if anyone cares Wink

Yeah Model railroad is pretty cool..went to a RR musuem once, they had a MASSIVE setup going it was so cool..and I got to control it!
I just love the little detail of it..but that stuff is just WAY to expensive for my blood...so I got into fly tying ;p

And JARHEAD..you might want to look into some of the high speed stuff thier doing right now..thats were the furures at mate. Try to get into a good engineering school like Georgia Tech instead of somthing rinky dink..real good future there I think.

you might want to wait, it's tempting, but i got into biking, it's fun. just expencive. buying a stock bike thats any good is 500 plus and all your personal add on. MRR is fun to i just never really got back into it.

point is wait a tad before you sell you may stick to AS

Nice. I go to a lot of the fairs, where they set up a bunch of layouts and sell HUGE amounts of stuff (HO Scale ftw). I lost interest though, too time consuming and I put waaay too much $$$ into it.... Ended up with probably 50 cars and four locomotives....It's in my basement now, gathering dust. Neutral

no im not gay, lol

Well im not going to go into passenger because im not like that. I do know someone who opperates amtrak acela up the eastern seaboard (acela=fastest train in the US)
And the school, Penn State Altoona isn't really "cheap". They're in the biggest railroading town in PA, Altoona http://vanillaresults.com/?q=Altoona+Pa+maps and since NS gave $100,000 in training equipment they're going to let almost ALL who train there in and have a job.

WW, tell hawk congrats. But unfortunatly he'll be half a country away, so i wont see him on the rails.

Lonesniper. I wont be selling it all now but maybe a few things for my models. Ive been MRR'ing since day one, my dad has since he was 1. He got his first trainset then. So its kinda a sentimental thing to keep going. But thanks for giving me the thought

br55FTW. Haha, thats sweet. Ho rocks man. I like o and HO. The fairs/ trainshows are probably my favorite marke type thing to go too.

ebays not bad if its good brands. and live steams is SUH-weet! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIctqF1CXZE

and Jarhead999, what scale is it?
