OPFOR Loadouts: Ruskie or Jihad?

So right now I'm deciding on an OPFOR loadout to start...
...thinking either Russian or generic mid-east Jihadist.

Thoughts?

I guess what I'm asking is which one will be of more use...I've seen alot more "Insurgent v. Coalition" games than "Coalition v. Russian".
But following the Call of Duty craze, more and more Russian-themed events and loadouts are popping up.

So really it would be a gamble throwing a Drunken, erm I mean Russian, loadout together again.

If I do go with Russian, I'd go with a loadout along the lines of the one found in post #224 (mid-way down page)

If I do go with a Jihad loadout, probably something simple...dishadasha, soviet-era chest rig, AK-47, balaclava...

yeah man! do the russian loadout! lets do it together! w00t w00t! if you ask me, i haven't seen a whole lot of russian loadout out here in california, so go for it. Also we got enough insurgents as it is with kids playing in t-shirts and jeans running around with a cyma 0.28 ak with another magazine stuffed inside their pocket. hehe

Ya I'm really pumped up about the Russian kit that guy had in the post I linked you to.
It's probably really cheap to make as well...since its all available surplus.

Well if you alreday have an AK i'd imagine thats about half the cost down haha.

I would pick Russian(Since i have my own half done) but not use the camo and boonie that guy is using in your link...

I think the Sandeater loadout would be harder to pull off since you are, well, red-headed, haha. The Sandeater loadout would be insanely easy to put together, however. Russian would be very interesting to see, but may put a dent in your wallet.

For practicality, my vote goes to the Sandeater loadout, but for awesomeness, I say Russian loadout.

You know, I think a shemagh or turban would look 100x better than a balaclava, not to mention look more realistic.

Haha, no worries there. As for color, I'd get a white and red shemagh, since I've never seen a pic of a Sandeater wearing an OD shemagh. If you're going for a look from a specific region, keep in mind the change in clothing.

My vote also goes to the Jihad loadout.
Get yourself a foldabel stock AK and prepare to spray!!

Durkee: for a good AK, I'd recommend the Cyma ak-105. 150 on ASGI, great stock FPS and accuracy, and it's got a folding stock.

Durkee you can just get some brown work boots and then beat the sh*t out of them with a hammer and cover them with dirt/dust, if you want them to look like that.

If you do roll with shoes, you may want to wrap your ankles with climbing tape or something to stiffen them and help lessen the chance of a sprain. For clothes, I would just go to walmart or a craft store, buy some white or black fabric, and make a robe. That would be legit. Some sewing skills required.

I would roll with some old ass Nikes or some generic brown leather shoes. Nikes would make it look better though, IMHO.

I agree with Omega completely. Ankles will be rolled without the added structure a boot gives your foot.
