Airsoft proof Gas Mask

does anyone know of a Gas Mask which is Airsoft BB proof? I've been thinking of an Mark 5 but I don't know.
The reason I'm asking is because I showed a friend my gas mask, he then promptly grabbed it and started shooting it point black.
Now I have a spider web crack in the right lens. anyway so does anyone know?

um the mask should be airsoft proof I think your talking about the lenses. I am not to sure honestly I think you should be able to get replacement lenses and just look for some heavy duty lenses. If you can find lenses that are AOS rated Z87 or up they will with stand a BB.

It would make sense that any mask would be good to go. I mean, the mask and lenses are what seperates you from a nerve agent, I would hope the lenses aren't made of coke bottle glass.

Not really if it's an older mask like the Mark V, it's not at all surprising the lens started to fail. Newer masks though should have a sufficient ballistic protection for airsoft since the military requires all eye ware to be ballistic grade material. I may take my MCU-2/P out and play a game with it on Wednesday so maybe i'll test my guess out and shoot it a few times.
