OK, I'm new to airsoft but have played paintball for years, im wanting an m14, but also want a sorta cheap one so is this one any good

A cheap gun will only end in tears...T_T...

much like a cheap spyder paintball gun.

The CYMA M14's are actually very good. There are other guns too that would be very good, like a AEG especially if your just starting out in airsoft.

What made you decide to do airsoft over paintball? you know just a question of why?

sorry to imply that, but im not quitting paintball, i am actually working as a paintball referee right now and practicing with a local competition team, i just walked into a new airsoft store in arkansas and became interested, so the past 3 weeks i have been trying to find out what gun i want, i am 15 years old and and have played paintball for 5 years, with no intention of stopping

I would suggest, If you are going for an M14, go for the G&G style M14.....they're a bit cheaper than Tokyo Marui M14s usually, and are still of a VERY high quality....but then again, It does depend on how much your willing to spend, and how interested you are in the sport. heres a link to a nice G&G M14:

nope, I have the shorter version, and its Olive Drab. But they are similar. But I have also had no problems with mine, and Have heard nothing but good things about it.

The G & G is a GREAT M14 replica. They did a really good job on it. The AGM M14 is a fairly decent replica as well. In airsoft you (usually) get what you pay for, and it's no different in this case, but I've heard good things about the AGM M14 as well. Have you thought about the Echo 1 M14 SOC? Another good rifle.
