just found out about my AK

its extrememly versatile. i can either have it as an AK74u or just a regular AK74
all i have to do is just switch the barrels and also switch the front outter barrel (which is extremely easy)

neat huh? so i really have 2 AK's now
the front outterbarrel is totally different (if you have noticed)
its full wood and metal as well (yes my friends, both my AKs are full metal and wood!)

so if the need arises and i need a bit more range. ill just switch out the front and the inner barrel, and have myself a longer range gun
the only downside is that the upper receiver is an AK47 one, but it works all the same

if it was a CYMA i don't think i could do this. (too many screws.) apparently DBOYs has a really simple and easy takedown feature. the whole front it held by a tight fit and 1 pin

indeed. everything on these rifles is full wood and full metal. minus the plastic magazine

nope, i use it for looks, also for identifying purposes. and also when i first started airsofting. i used the tape to help me reload (i.e. hand placement)

Very smart. I do that with my glock on my extended mag.

maybe in the future ill get some hardcore blue tape! (like chechnya) haha
but tape just plain looks cool also

lol painters tape is a bit too delicate i think though. (the tape i need is either medical or electrical tape) the tape in the picture is medical tape

Medical tape...good times... My cousins RTK is held together solely by med tape.

medical tape is an amazing thing. i think in the future i will wrap tape around the skeleton stock.

It's NN2H he doesn't need anything to have tactical reasons to put tape on his guns, he's that person who can walk onto the field with a hot pink hello kitty M4 and have no shame. Or have 700 lbs of gear on him and still kick ass. He works in mysterious ways don't question his abilities.

Anyways thats a smart idea I would take the idea but I wear full finger gloves so I wouldn't be able to feel it. also are you going to redo the wood on the ak47u? it just kinda looks bad if you ask me, I think you could re prime it and gloss it up to get it looking like the 47.

I'm pretty sure the wear and tear on the wood is intentional so that it looks battle worn.

the handguards i think look fine. but i will probably scrub it a bit and put some wood finisher on it

Yeah some wood finisher would do the job, I just think it looks kind of weird like that, I'm not saying it should look completely red just some added color.
