| I'm feeling rather impulsive.... http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Launchers_Related_Parts_King_Arms_King_Arms_M79_Grenade_Launcher.htmI have heard all the hub-bub about the impracticality of grenade launchers in AS, but man....I want this just for Sh*ts and gigs. Throw 'er on a sling just for the \"Watch your language\" of it, use it to clear out cabins in my field, because we have a rule that if any type of grenade launcher fires into the window of a Cabin, everybodt in there is tagged. I got my Debit Card in hand....somebody talk me out of this? or tell me why it's such an epic idea. | |

| Sure can't, but think about this. Every time you fire a 40 mike-mike, you have to flip the thumper open, remove the spent shell, put it in your dump pouch, pull a new shell out, put it into the replica, and lock it back up. Think how long that will take you! Meanwhile, Charlie's going to be lightin' your ass up because you've got no way to put plastic downrange. And if you have somebody covering you while you're doing it, you're putting not only yourself, but them at risk too. Then, in addition to the, what? $250, $350 for your thumper, you have to pay another $30-$45 per shell, then $15 per 40 mike-mike pouch, and on top that, you'll probably have to buy a second dump pouch to put the spent shells in. For a thumper, four shells, four pouches, and a dump, you're looking at.... $605 by my estimation. For that price, you can buy a WE KAC PDW and eight magazines for it. | |

| Dude why not get the acm revolving launcher, at least then you get 6 shots. And shells are much cheaper if you can find the king arms 3 packs, I think they are sub-$100 for three 65 round shells. Just a thought | |

because I'm not super big on 203's and the like, I'm only getting this BECAUSE it's a Thumper. And jarhead, all very good points, you're a good man, but I'm thinking all that extra will be unnecessary because I'll only buy one, MAYBE two shells and just have it slung over my shoulder for the situations that really call for it. | |
