TM PSG 1

Anybody have anything to say about these sexy peices of art? I might get one in time just because they are sexy but I kinda want to know everybodies thoughts on them. I would love it if somebody told me how they feel in person how the shooting is all that good shiz.

IMO they are not worth it they are money pits due to terrible stock performance and overly expensive and rare upgrade parts. And the scope they come with is mediocre and proprietary, plus to add insult to injury from what I've seen the wood pattern looks like a 5 year old drew it with a broken crayon. So basically for $500 you get an overly large rifle that only shoots 280 fps with a scope that sucks but can't be replaced and to get it to shoot at dmr level you will have to pay double the cost of the gun. So iirc you would be better off with a different dmr platform

I probably would rather spend the money on a CA SVD with a PSO-1, or a new guitar before I would buy a PSG-1

RARE parts?.....lulz. Systema makes an M130 upgrade kit for this beast.

Compared to most other aegs the upgrade potential is severely limited, the parts are not as available as a version 2 or version 3 gearbox so in a way the parts are kinda rare

In a way yes. but they are not hard to get a hold of.

Parts aren't necessarily hard to get they're just top of the line parts that you have to get so they cost a pretty penny, even though I think G3 parts work with them or some G3 parts work with them and G3 parts are pretty easy to get.

I just think these are one of the sexiest rifles out there, I like SVD's but they seem to be getting more common as time goes on which kills it for me, exact reason I don't care for the M4 much because everybody owns one.

I've seen one in action, a locale at my field has one.
Spotted targets for him one time, as they were out of AEG range.
5 Tangos down in 7 shots, good enough for me.

Lone, G3 parts wont work. It has a 1-off Gear box........if they used G3 parts, o would own one.
