Okay well people here seem to be pretty techy. Soo this is my first place I'm going to go maybe get a few other sites you guys can recommend or something.

So the thing is my friend gave me a Zune 80gb (first one not HD) a while back because he said it wasn't working and he couldn't figure out what was going on so he gave up and got an itouch instead. Well I played with it a little and found out the USB cord was messed up so I got a new one and it started charging and what not. Well I thought I lost it and got an ipod nano for xmas. Recently I found it and the USB cord which makes me happy more GB for music and videos haha.

Now the problem, I have a wall jack thing that you can plug in USB cords and charge things and what not ipods, zunes, PSP, whatever. when I plug the zune into it though the little battery will pop up on the screen that says it's charging but then it will just fade away into a black screen then come back and repeats. I don't know if thats how you know it's charging or if it's a malfunction or what. But when I try to turn it on nothing happens.

The USB for the zune doesn't have a little button you press to pull it out but I doubt thats the problem, because it still brings up the battery. I think it's the battery or something any help please?

If somebody has another site that is more based around this stuff please post, or if somebody knows how to fix it defently post or send me a message.

Try charging it in a different outlet or on your computer.

Does it work if you plug it into your computer?

It should.. It just needs a direct power source, no fancy pantsy firmware should be necessary. I could be wrong.
