i am the type that just goes in guns ablazin so im thinking about getting a S.A.W. which one should i get? or are others better than others? and my price range is 1 - 400 $

SAW as in M249? Check out Echo 1's line.... Or just get any AEG and slap on a box mag.

If you're a spray and pray guy, you CAN buy a box mag for most AR-type replicas (M16, M4, ETC)

i have an 1000 round mag for an ak-47 but i want more power and still a bigger mag.

More power as in what kind? A 249 probably won't be any better then any decent AK's on the market. If anything it'd be a downgrade with it's size and weight. You can get 2500 and 3000 round AK mags for a fraction of what you'd pay for a 249. What brand of AK do you have?

Nothing really? They have more cons then pros. In my opinion the only good thing with them is their intimidation factor and high level of bad assness. ROF (stock) is the same or slower then most other AEG's, same with accuracy. Ammo capacity is good but as it's been stated before you can get the same or higher capacity mags for regular AEG's. Unless it's like an L86 LSW, AUG LSW/HBR, Stoner KAC 96, or an AK LSW variant, you're looking at heavy and awkwardly bulky guns to lug around.

IMO the AK is more intimidating. 7.62 > 5.56

Oh yeah, airsoft. Even still, I favor an AK over a 10lbs+ M249 any day. Now the M60 is a different story..... but A&K is pooish.

Im thinkin about a A & K m249 MK II. in your oppinion would that be better than a kalash ak?

As i said before, there will probably be very little difference between your AK and a M249 or any other type of S.A.W. out there. You would just be hampered with a big ass gun instead of a light and mobile kit. It's all personal preference and i personally don't mind a BFG in my hands. But i think you're wanting one under an illusion that it'll turn you into Rambo or something just carrying it and it be a super gun compared to the one you have now.

If i already had an AK, M16/M4, or G36 i would drop a bipod on it and a high capacity mag on. I was actually planning on doing just that to my KWA M4 when i got out of airsoft and sold it. Right now the only LMG in airsoft that i'm liking is the ARES KAC 96 but i don't think it's out yet.
