Very cheaply made.
The body has a very Chinese-plastic feel to it...with jutting mold seams that shout "CHEAP CHINESE CLONE!!! NOT POLYMER AT ALL, NOT EVEN CLOSE...YOU SUCK, AMERICAN FOOL!!!".

That was my main complaint about it.

Stock ROF is "decent"...but the poor FPS/accuracy is not what you want from a $500+ replica.
It was lacking...

Back when I frequented SC Village and was affiliated with the Outlawz (airsoft team)...one of the older members got the Ares Tavor immediately after it was on the market.
He was furious over it...felt he had just been ripped off. I got my hands on it at the zero-range and I understood why he felt that way. I'm just not a fan of it.

As always, I've only handled an Ares Tavor once...so I can't positively say that this wasn't just a lemon.
But I have no desire to buy from Ares after touching that thing.

You CANNOT go wrong with the MK16. If I were you, I would definitly go for the SCAR
