| /thread open Ok wait... If you are going to use these AIRSOFT guns PURELY for REENACTMENTS.... I can almost see why you don't want an AEG. But don't do that. You will look more stupid than you do now running out there with pea shooters amongst other guys who have blank-firing rifles. Stop opening all these rambling threads please, unless you are going to get rid of your tunnel vision. Lock pl0x | |

Aye, but the only downside is that KWA no longer makes the standard A1 model as far as I know.

| Well, what about a WA M1911 I think they might be better than KWA because of their high end guns they make? The downside is that they are pretty expensive for WA guns compared to KWA. Also, do they sell the WW II model at a U.S. retailer? | |

| Western arms (WA) are definitely not skirmish pieces, more like showcasing. Another option you could consider is the Tokyo marui m1911, cheaper than wa, incredible performance, and upgradability is second to none. | |

| Several of mi compadres (--) have owned WE 1911s, all of them having problems. Either cracked slides, leaky mags, cracking mags, weak springs.... Can't go wrong with KSC, imo. Then again, I have not done more than borrow a WE handgun... so take that as you will. | |

| I have owned the WE-tech single stack style 1911's. They suck. The mags are so tiny that they barely hold enough gas to go through a full mag. (you'll be lucky to get 10 out of 15 bb's out of it and the 10th shot pretty much drops out of the barrel) They may be full metal, but they are really just fully metal pieces of sh!t | |

| Ok, so WA is a showcase gun. I heard WE is pretty hit and miss in the gas blowback pistol section. Also, why KSC and why not go with KWA? The KSC is about the same price and the KWA is pretty good as of what I have heard. Is there any place to get a KWA M1911 model without the ugly trademarks? Lastly, are the KSC trademarks valid to the real M1911?

| *facepalm* KSC=KWA Same company, same gun, KSC just has better metal and trademarks.

| Oh sorry, I forgot I am pretty tired. Where could I get the KWA without the ugly trademarks? Also, does the KSC have valid trademarks to the real gun? | |

| I have heard that the KWA is more gas effiecent though and it looks like it is more accurate according to reviews. Also, how could I get one without the huge ugly orange tip? | |

| One advantage to the kwa is the phenomenal customer service, which to my knowledge is not offered for ksc guns. | |

| *facepalm* Well, where could I get both of them without the ugly orange tip or is there no way in the U.S.?I like the trademarks on the KSC, but if the KWA trademarks would be gray it would be somewhat acceptable. Also, I have heard the KWA has better performance in cold weather, is more gas efficient, and it shoots more accurately. | |

| GET THIS THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL: THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME THING MINUS THE TRADEMARKS. THE GAS EFFICIENCY IS IDENTICAL. THEY ARE THE SAME GUNS. System7=NS2=PTP KSC= Trademarks KWA= No trademarks If you order overseas, instead of them painting an orange tip and destroying your trademarks, tell them to cover it with black tape. I believe that redwolf will do this for you, and I am sure there are many others that will as well. | |

| WGC Shop as a standard will cover trade marks and paint an (easily removable) orange muzzle if it doesn't have one already.
IT IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE TO BUY, SELL, OR TRANSPORT AN AIRSOFT GUN WHILE ITS ORANGE TIP IS REMOVED. Get used to it.
Trademarks are nice, but you should not be fretting over a few letters that no one will care about.

+5,000,000 If you're making a decision to buy one of two identical products based on trademarks, be sure to shoot yourself in the face once your replica arrives.

| Ok, I have heard some not so good things about Red Wolf Airsoft and it would cost a lot to ship it to Missouri. I would rather have the KWA M1911 than a KSC M1911 since I like the KWA M1911, even though they are the same company. Also, thanks for the positive comment Mercc. | |
