who saw BATTLE LA?!?!?!

Who saw it? and who loved it as much as me?!?!?! and who feels motivated to make a USMC loadout now?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i do! i do! i do! i do! i do! i do!!!!

I almost died when i saw the movie due to its sheer awesomeness and great action. although the voice acting was a bit corny, but that is usually expected in an alien movie!

I saw it the day after it came out. It was awesome indeed! Except for the laser designator, that was poopish. And I wish they would have had more detailed scenes with the aliens to show how cool they are, but they wanted to make effects rendering as quick as possible while still being cool.

That kind of stuff is Okay in vidya games, but it gets a little old in movies. The effects were stunningly good, though. Reminded me of District 9, alot.

Hey, speaking of Peter Jackson...I FREAKING NEED THE HOBBIT TO RELEASE NOOOWWW!!

I saw it opening night with a bunch of friends and totally loved every minute of it!
The beginning was funny though, because when they do the whole "Let's go back in time 24 hours" all my friends and I were like "Oh boy, here we go, boring plot, then action in the end." But, it ended up being like 4 minutes of sorta boring plot with shooting anyways, and then it was back to the first scene again. Definately an action movie, hahaha. The aliens' intelligence was pretty scary though. I mean, ambushing them from the roofs as they ran through the backyards haha.
Movie Highlights:
1. We thought it was funny when, after the alien fell into the pool, the one guy calmly pulled out a frag, said "Frag out", tossed it into the pool, and walked away haha
2. When the woman shot the LAW at the alien ship (so unrealistic, but it was cool!)
3. The part where the Sgt. set's a trap for the UAV by placing the radio by the gas station.
4. The sewer part. That was pretty cool how they were all stealthy and stuff.
That's all I can think of at the moment. Any others?
The only complaints that I had were the wierd time changes. For example, when they were flying in the helicopter, it was dark, but when they came out from under the bridge after exiting the sewers, it was light again haha. They had really wierd time changes throughout the movie like that.

I loved their ships, how the little stabilizer jets were blasting all over the place haha. VFX were pretty awesome.

Agreed with a lot of the points made so far; a truly amazing flick.
I'd been waiting for it to come out for two weeks so me and all my buds saw it opening night.
It was good enough for me to come back the very next night with my girlfriend, and she despises anything military related.
She loved it. My buddy who's dad was a marine in Vietnam said he was going to buy 3 copies, LUL.
He loved all the Marine pride that was mixed in.

I took my gf to it as a date movie. I remember alex k. said it wasn't a date movie.... well... i made it a date movie! ooh rah!

Definitely a good movie, I plan on buying it for the best quality possible (seems like a movie you need to watch in high def) or i'll download the blueray version (shhhhh don't tell the FBI or the gov't)

I'm watching it tomorrow. My mate has a high quality pirate, says it's as good as theater quality.
Can't wait I'm so excited!
