| You mean like liability release forms? The butt pirates over at my local airsoft group tried to make one. I can copy it if you'd like. | |

| Would it be legally binding? The only reason i want to start using them is because my games may start having players that aren't friends of mine and with how things are today i don't want to be blamed for someone else's stupidity. | |

| A signed waiver will be considered legally binding in most courts even without being notorized. You should have no problem in that area as long as you insist that any injuries/loss of property are not your responsibility. Don't go into detail too much or you'll open yourself up to loopholes if taken to court.

| Waivers are a double edged sword !!
Durkee is correct, they are considered to be `Informal Binding Contracts´between 2 parties, and they do have weight in a court of law if something should go wrong, but, and here comes the hard part.
If anything should occur during a game or event, where an individual is injured, privacy is violated, trademark infringement, Private or Event property is damaged, Event dates changed or cancelled, non-fullfilment of Game expectations, ect, ect,ect.............
The game oranizers can be held accountable, exactly the reason why most waivers are long and in depth.
They also require the ORGAS to ensure that `ALL ´game rules are being followed, which in itself can be a huge pain in the back side. | |
