Poll: Preferred Link Color (Please view)

Hello airsofters.

I'm currently in the process of trying to fix an issue with the site that has been a long time coming! For those who haven't noticed, links like this one
The Airsoft Sniper
show up as though they're regular text. Normally these types of links will show up blue and underlined.

It really makes it hard at times to decipher between text and links. This seems like a simple fix, but unfortunately until I purchase our domain name (in the works!!!) I don't have access to most of the source code to this forum. And this is mainly a problem because I don't have complete editing capabilities over the site. So, to finally put it in its simplest form - I can't edit how the links look without making other drastic changes to the site's looks along with it!

First of all, unless you type out the URL for a website (ex. http://www.airsoftforum.darkbb.com), the link won't show up underlined no matter what (I can't change this). So it's up to the color of the text to distinguish the links from the regular text. However, when I change the color of the links within posts, it changes the colors of ALL (text) links within the entire forum. So, I thought it might be best to go ahead and go through with it, but I need your opinions on which new color to go with.

In the pictures you won't be able to see what the text links look within posts because right now that's not what's important. What I want to know is what you guys think of the resulting text links within the forum itself (on the main page). Tell me which shade of green you like the most, if you'd rather it be a different color, or if you're okay with not being able to distinguish links from regular text and want it to stay as is.

Phew.. I hope I didn't lose any of you with that long explanation. Here are the colors!

I chose dark green.I think it goes better with the site and its colors.

I don't really care , It suits me that we leave it the same for that matter .

I chose dark green, because I agree it flows with the entire site more. But kinda also like the way the site is. But I definately agree that it is often hard to decipher links from regular text.

I think that the dark green gives the site a flat out cool look and it will make the site pop.

Well, although I haven't a huge number of responses, the choice is pretty clear. I'll switch it to the dark green and we'll see how you guys react to it. If you end up not liking it, let me know in this thread or through a PM please. Thanks everyone who participated!

No I changed my mind after really using it please this is worse than the new facebook please change it back .

I love it!! I think it looks really cool and vibrant. Nromally I HATE change, but I think this is great. ADMIN has out done himself once again.

Well so far I haven't received enough negative feedback to go back. Sorry Alabama. I agree the green is slightly "loud," but we'll have to continue to look at user feedback. People, please respond on what you think! Thanks!

would it be possible to change the forum selector to what it was and change the actual link colour to something else?

Unfortunately no. I tried explaining that in my first post, but I'm not sure I was clear enough.

Bright more like hey look at me , but Ill get used to it .

I chose other because i liked the white we had earlier.Dark green is my favorite green,but I think it doesn't go with the blue background.

Hey sry ive been gone for a while but im back now and i voted for the dark green because it fits the over all website better
