So what do you guys think of the M14? Is it a good gun and what brands are best to buy it from?

CYMA is the best for your money. Their M14's are pretty nifty

Overall im not a big fan, If im going to be a sniper Im either going to have a custom Mech Sniper or a Bar-10 or VSR-10 bolt actions

I LOVE the M14-hence the name Very Happy but I would deffinately reccomend the G&G M14-shes a beaut. Heres a decent review I found on it:

I second that M14 double-taps. I haven't had much experience with the CYMA like Lone Wolf mentioned, but I have with a few others and the G&G is my favorite. Although I have to admit, if you're on a budget the Echo 1 M14 is a pretty good deal as well.

I'd like to get an M-14 and turn it into a DM rifle. I've seen and used a G&G M14, it was an excellent gun for the price. I find that even a person on a budget can wait a while and save up for a "better" gun. But better is a very subjective word so, it's mostly up to you and what you want.

I've never had a problem with any Echo-1 gun, but the G&G would be my recommendation.
