LW: The reason it matters is because if you say its ok to say clip interchangeably with mag, then you can do the same with Sniper and Sniper Rifle. Imagine if our kids called SUV's, ATV's. That wouldn't make you a little mad? Thats probably not the best example but I'm brain dead I'll come up with something better later.

Australia is only pro "gun control", meaning they wanted to control each and every firearm in their country. This isn't necessarily a bad thing for them; remember the USA is a unique country with a unique culture. What we have in the US wouldn't work in AUS, and vice versa.

Oh about the AUG thing he probably got confused by the country's names yes; however AUS has a license from Austria to manufacture the AUG. They do use it for their armed forces. They manufacture it under the name of F88 Austyer(Australian Styer).

Austria , Australia , same difference , both have funny acents , and all are foriegn to us here in the US . The only difference is a few letters , and a small amount of Geography .
