I am getting a jg bar 10 not the g spec and i was wondering if the orange tip is threaded? If so will this adaptor work

I think it will but learn what why the threads go (I think counter clock wise) if it even has some my friend was talking about one of his guns having that I'm pretty sure it is counter.

if I'm wrong correct me I don't want this poor guy spending money for a stupid mistake a made.
