Well im sitting here listin to the new coldplay CD (viva la vida), and i was wondering what you guys like to listen too. ill start off.

styles
1: rap
2: rock
3: alternitive

artists
1: many fit the top, and it probably changes weekly but there is one person who is always a challenger for the top. lil wayne AKA weezy. lyrically i think he is the best rapper out there. hes not that clean (lyrically), but he doesn't drop the f-bomb every other word or even line *cough* lil john *cough*.

2: tie between common (from chi town) and a semi underground rapper from washington DC names Wale (pronounced Wah-lay).

3: tie between cold play, and a band named velvet revolver (most of the guys from guns&roses are in it)

Albums
1: tie between the carter 3(lil wayne), and viva la vida(cold play)

2: best thang smokin 8 (DJ smallz) or Libertad(velvet revolver)

3: 100 miles and runnin(Wale)

so what do you guys like to listen to?

I'm big into music, and go to a ton of concerts. i love Punk, metal, and rock. I can roll with hip hop and R&B. I'm cool with anything (not big on country). My all time favorites are"
1. the clash
2. Nirvana
3. Rage against the machine
4. Killswitch Engage
5. MXPX
6. Green Day
7. O.A.R.
8. The police
9. Hurt
10. Alter bridge

Thoughts on new stuff out today:
New Coldplay (viva la vida). Dissapointing. 3 or 4 goods. not even close to their first album.
New Weezer (red album). takes a few plays to get use to (like all weezer) solid but not great.
Flobots (fight with tools) AWESOME. handlebars, and Rise are phenominal.
3 Doors Down (3 Doors Down) Dissapointing. some really good tracks, i wish they'd stay heavy the whole time.
lil wayne (carter 3) surprisingly good. I liek this better every time i hear it.

I saw Dragonforce in concert, they opened up for killswitch. The riffs are cool. there is just a little too much leather and lace involved in the band for me.

not really costumed. They're all just from Europe. They were just alot different than the other bands there (killswitch and Chimera) not that there's anything wrong with that.

My friend has a band and they dress normal and a lot of famous bands do but Kiss and leathr and tassle wearing bands just look wierd

i recently saw one of the guys from killswitch at one of the local gas stations. he like Marlboro reds.... and he knows Mikey(the gas attendant). he seemed like a nice guy.....

Killswitch is from Kentucky right?

Well, I listen to a tad of country, but mostly rock, and metal. Some of my favorites are:

Journey
Queen
Trapt

And lately I've been listening to alot of Nightwish. I like End Of All Hope, Nemo, and Kiss while your Lips are still Red. some of Nightwish's other song are just kinda wierd.
But my ALL TIME favortie music, is the Rasta-Man, all the way from Trench Town, Jamaica. BoB Marley!! I listen to his music everyday. My favorites by him are Stir it up, Redemption song, and Three Little Birds.....and YES, I listened to him BEFORE I Am Legend came out.
The only Country I listen to really is Tim Mcgraw's If Your Reading This. That song has over 800 plas on my Ipod. Rolling Eyes

Rock, Alternative, NOT rap, NOT Hip Hop, can't stand anything r&b or any of that. I like the older bands. Bon jovi, Guns n' Roses, anything like that. I'm just not a rapish kind of person. Smile
