I don't think post count should increase if you post in the "Lounge" section. Cause then people could post a bunch of junk just to get a higher post count.

actually, I think this is a great point. A lot of the lounge topics don't really require members to add anything airsoft related to the forums, so it is my opinion that these posts should NOT count b/c they don't really count as quality airsoft posts. Nice poll fox!

I think it depends if their just messing around and the stuff they post is so random i don't think it should count but on the other hand there are some important info in here such as what sports will help in airsoft and things like that

I said it should but I really don't care I mean rank is nothing if all of your post are junk that you just posted to get your rank up . A person with a high rank should have earned it .

The post rank means nothing, the quality of their input is far more important, some forums I used have removed the feature entirely, just to stop people ranking up.

Quality over quantity.

I agree , I mean I like the rank thing but alot of post are becoming useless because of the rank . Its like how America can't keep a speed limit free but the German Autobaun can .

Yea i don't know i think the rank should go by how much you vist the site for a certian amount of time or how long you have been on this forum instead of the posts but then you run into problems with that to

Well I like the idea of not including lounge posts. I think as far as quality is concerned I must say that when us moderators get time we have a preoccupation of deleting posts and threads that don't add to the forum. We are way behind on this and we also let stuff slide way too much, but soon I am sure we will get better. We are all just really busy with college + family + work + friends + AIRSOFT. So help us out by not posting a bunch of crap in the threads (not that anybody does).
