| Im good. I have just been looking at cars, going to dealerships, etc... to be honest I was having an incredibly tough time finding a car that I liked. A few months ago when I looked there were all kinds of cars to choose from, now when I absolutely HAD to get a car I couldnt find 1. I did however come across a really clean 2003 Focus SVT and decided it would be good as it covers just about all the bases: 1) Plenty of room in the back for gear. 2) Faster than Slacker's Jeep. 3) Looks pretty good in stock form. 4) Handles like a 180hp go kart. 5) Cheaper to mod due to it being domestic.
Here she is: [img] [/img] It is a little dirty... sorry I need to wash it and then take pics next time.
Here is the interior: [img] [/img]

| As a fellow Ford Focus driver, I say go for it! Mine's the exact same color too... but the SE version (not as cool lol). Only one problem... it's a Ford Just kidding. _________________ Never hesitate to PM me or one of my mods if you have any questions or issues! Team Juggernauts: Logan, Ohio

| Actually I have to disagree with you on that Admin... not a problem, more of a blessing as it is cheaper to maintain and upgrade than its Japanese counterparts. I can go on Jegs and buy all kinds of stuff for it. Being an SVT also sort of helps out... engine runs really smooth all the way to its 7200 rpm redline and the getrag 6 speed is smooth and rather precise. The suspension is also tuned rather well... it can do a slalom run faster than a 2004 Cobra SVT no problem and it also brakes faster from 60-0. It would get its butt handed to it in the quarter by a Cobra, but that is sort of expected as the Cobra has 400hp and my Focus has 180hp. I was surprised at the interior... I was expecting cheap plastic everywhere, then I got in it and thought to myself, "This is better than some German cars that cost 3 times as much." 17" SVT rims stock, look pretty nice and the big rotors under them are impressive to look at as well. Compared to a lot of cars that I looked at even up in the $15k range it is a great overall package. If you are looking at getting a car, check into these... they are somewhat rare (only made from 2002-2004) but they generally dont cost a fortune.
I will be upgrading mine pretty extensively within the next year. That way I can get my Airsoft gear to the field sooner. _________________ Classic Army MG36 - 2500 rounds of pure fury. Echo 1 Vector Arms AK - 400 FPS JG Bar 10 G-Spec - 520 FPS ICS M4 CQB - 325 FPS (Perfect for close encounters) |
