Hey, im trying to become the rare breed of airsoft sniper can any one help

I am looking to become a airsoft sniper willing to spend about $200 to $250 , what is a good sniper? please help Laughing

I posted this thread first thing as i got on the forum, but since have read many of you guy's post and threads and have found them very helpfull, but i am torn on becoming a sniper wich would be new or going with a AEG because i have plyed semi pro paintball speed ball and was a monster and know i would dominate that. Plus being a sniper means breaking the bank.
Is it woth being a sniper in airsoft or no cause i have heard both. The whole getting ghillied up with a sniper rifle sound and looks cool but is it all just hype. Pleas leave some suggestions i would love to hear them. study

well you can ghillie up and not be a sniper. You could buy and AEG and upgrade it to 400 fps (you could actually upgrade it to 500 fps with a systema magnum motor). ADMIN has a pretty sweet SL8 that is a pain in the bottoms to move up on because it has both range and accuracy as well as an insane ROF. I just think it is important for you to try them both before you buy any. Is it possible for you to play through a couple skirmishes with a friend's AEG!?! That would give you a good feel for it I am sure. It might even make you go an entirely different route and become a 32 BB per second support gunner lol. There is just something awesome about being able to blow through a clip in less than 8 seconds, but it really depends on the persons play style... so if at all possible find out what your play style is preferably BEFORE you make your first big airsoft purchase.

Just get a UTG L-96 with a scope like this one right here its heavy and some people don't like them but I love mine .

Well like i have said i played paintball for six years and still do, i play the speedball role and have a shocker nxt so i know how it feels to shoot 30 balls a second but now i think i want to try to hit someone frome far away with one shot and extreme accuracy Twisted Evil

The gun isn't going to do that for you , that takes luck , skill , and experience to do that and while the gun helps if you don't know what your doing then the gun isn't going to help you at all . What would the Marines be with the most high tech sniper rifle gun in the world and having a monkey shoot it ? Well let's just say America wouldn't win as many wars, I can tell you that right now . But Anyway Back to the forum, a gun is only as good as the person firing it and unless you train and train and train and train and train , then you could have a gun thats shoots 900 feet per second and fires holes through concrete and stand 5 feet away and miss. Thank you This has Been a lecture by some one who has no clue what they are talking about but thought it would make them look smarter , older , and cooler if he said these things . That is all .

Well i am a fairly good shot and with some pratice i think i could be good. I know stealth and movment, but i also contain the will to learn a new trade. Marksmen. I could give a monkey a assult rifle let it pull the triger and it would hit something but it takes skill to make long distance shots and put them on the mark. Thats what i want to learn.
