| $200 - ahh so many options.
It really will depend on your preference of styles. Here are some options I'd recommend: Anything Echo 1!! Echo 1 614 E1 Mp5 E1 VA AK-47
Classic Army Sportline Series: CA M15a4 CA Mp5
I'd highly recommend an Echo 1 though. Go to Airsoftgi.com, click the Echo 1 banner on the main page and find one that suits your needs. Almost all of them are under $200 And they'll last you a fairly long time.
*Just fyi, this is considered a "which gun" topic, so I moved it into the "Which Gun?" section. _________________ Never hesitate to PM me or one of my mods if you have any questions or issues! Team Juggernauts: Logan, Ohio

| echo 1is your best bet. They are cheaper and you can use the extra money you got left to upgrade it _________________ "Kill one man, terrorize a thousand." |

| I have the Echo 1 X36C you are looking at. It is pictured on my avatar to the left of this message. I have to say you can't go wrong. I love it and a lot of my friends were impressed with it. I would ask Seabass for his opinion on MY gun as he has seen it himself and is probably going to give you the truth behind this gun as no one else could. He is after all one of the airsoft gods. lol
That being said, I must agree wtih ADMIN in that he suggested the Echo 1 614. It will eat up all of your budget, but you will get 2 barrel length options. If you ask me, that is pretty sweet even if you keep one barrel on the majority of the time. Keeping in mind that FPS is not everything in AEG purchasing, you'll also get a 400+ FPS. I would trust an Echo 1's 400+ FPS rating WAY more than I would trust other companies (ie JG AEGs). Check it out for yourself and give it a good looking at too. http://echo1usa.com/English/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13_25&products_id=98
At the end of the day make sure that nobody is telling you what to buy. What I mean by that is make sure that this is a gun that gets you pumped to play airsoft no matter what others think because it will be YOUR gun
Happy shopping!!!
Sticks.13, I know you have mixed emotions about Echo 1's from your awesome article a few weeks ago, but I must say I love the decision for airsoftsmith to start selling Echo 1's. I think they are a great retailer and I hope this brings them more business. You got to support your local shops.... even though that place is hardly local for those of us who recently made a trip up there (inside joke there). lolol Magellen is not so good for directions in Columbus lolol

| I will have to say I love Roamers G36. I have a Echo 1 M4 and I love it. They are a ton of parts out there for them, but everyone seems to have one. The G36 would be a great different option. Good luck, and like Roamer said, get what YOU want. |

This is probably the best advice so far. Sure not all guns are created equal, but except for a few disappointing models of guns out there, go with the one that you think looks the coolest and fits your style of play the best. Like Roamer said, the 614 is definitely worth looking into, as it has a higher fps, two barrel lengths, and a lot of other cool features. But also, the G36 is amazing as well. I've seen Roamer make some pretty awesome shots with it.... and, of course, the gun looks great
From what I've seen, the G36 has little to no wobble or creaks in the frame of it, has a fairly high ROF, good consistency and accuracy, decent amount of stock FPS, highly upgradeable, and is a durable gun. If that's the one you want, go for it! _________________ Never hesitate to PM me or one of my mods if you have any questions or issues! Team Juggernauts: Logan, Ohio

| Like said above, Echo 1 AEG's are great entry level replica's and perform pretty good for the money. If you arent willing to save up the extra money and get a CA, ICS, or TM... that is about your only good choice in my opinion.
Of course, I am sure you have seen my ICS M4 CQB pistol on here in a few different places... it is priced right at $200 depending on what kind of replica you are looking for. It would be compareable to a G36c's accuracy and range since the barrel length isnt much different. BUT it has a ton of nice features that the G36c doenst have... so I would look into that before ordering. _________________ Classic Army MG36 - 2500 rounds of pure fury.
