| Alright, prior to playing the ultra-noob, I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year! You may remember me from a post way back about buying a springer sniper rifle L96 clone. Basically I scrapped that idea due to the lack of "rambo" fun. Keeping it simple: I'm new to airsoft, never played before, have a budget of around 150$ and am looking for a decent gun (price/accuracy/quality) Now if that isn't a stereotypical question! JG/Echo 1/Golden Bow MP5 SD5 http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-JG-M5S5-068.htmJG/Echo 1/Golden Bow MP5 SD6 http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-JG-M5S6-067.htmA&K M4 S-System http://fragcdo.com/2008/01/22/new-version-ak-m4-s-system/ (sorry for the crappy link) If you would like to add any rifle, be my guest, but don't recommend some cheap nylon plastic crap for 25 bucks. Thx for the help, Silent50cal | |

| I have heard that the jg g36c is a great gun for the price, and on evike it is only 115 dollars with the battery charger rifle and magazine, and shipping is free over 100 dollars. | |

| the included battery charger is a POS get a smart charger if you don't have one already. The JG G36C uses mini plug type batteries, so if you plan on ramping up a insane ROF this is not the gun for you. If you plan on shooting at 400 FPS with a .25, you will need to replace the plastic in the mechbox concerning the piston, spring guide, and piston head. The tappet plate is also plastic.
My only disappointment with JG is they use a lot of plastic. If this is one of the newe 'version 3' JG's it should have the metal bushings pre-installed.
The hop up is far from TM quality, if you feel you need more accuracy start by cheaply upgrading the hop up and see where that gets you. | |

| I guess I'll go with the a&k M4...one thing that p*sses me off is the fact that I pay 125 EUROS for this rifle since I live in Italy, in USD it would be 158 bucks...well I have to satisfy myself with what I have available. | |

| Hi Silent_50._Cal, I would go with the JG G36C, this gun is almost impossible to destroy, IMHO the very best gun that JG has produced, it is incredible the punnishment this gun can withstand and keep on delivering. I know how you feel about the Conversion, it´s enough to drive you insane when you start to compare prices, Here is something that might put a smile on your face, You can Privatly import your SoftAir Rifles, you should be here where I am at, we can't Import any AirSoft with an energy above 0,49 Joules. We have to go through Handlers !!! Talk about over inflated Prices | |

| The JG G36C is a fantastic gun. I have one myself and it's got great accuracy and power, the ROF is decent and the high caps actually feed quite well. My brother has the JG M4 S-System and its performance is comparable, probably not quite as good, and the build quality is not quite as good as the G36's which is amazing.

| JG G36C is a amazing I have it also, in fact it is my primary. I had to put metal bushings in it and a tbb, however the rest of the gun is genuine. It has a great ROF and Accuracy. I need a FET now | |
