Hello all..Im coming over from paintball as airsoft is economically more sound atm.If you have ever played PB ,you already know what is said about a PB sniper..I was the exception to this rule.I played a little tourney ball but alot more woodsball.I enjoy the natural elements as opposed to the cluster of big ballons. I spent a considerable amount in PB to get my tac one to a point I could truly be considered a sniper,I expect the same from airsoft. However, after alot of research and many reviews,Ive decided to start with the JG bar 10. It seems to be a cheap.well rounded entry lvl rifle for airsoft.Because of my playstlye(realism),I opted away from the aeg's.Though I know what there capable of,the single shot bolt action spring rifle seems to be alot more realistic to me.Not to mention,if your getting spotted before you can get the kill, your not playing the role properly. As it stands,I got my jg on the way,2 Co2 paintball claymores,2 guille's for adverse conditions and a massive array of various tactical gear from millitary and PB expierence.Ive been scrimming with my brothers classic army Mp5 to get the hang of distance/accuracy and damage.I must say...I am really enjoying it and wished I had made the switch earlier on.Im still up in the air about a sidearm.I suppose with more exp. I can more accurately gauge the use of one.My role in PB was generally an ambush/sniper.However,there have been times I was forced into the scout/sniper posistion so im accustomed to both.Ive always played solo as I seem to do loads better on my own.I like to employ not only stealth tactics(as all snipers should)but an assortment of booby traps and triplines to really get my opposistion shaking.

I was most impressed with the reviews on this site as it seems there so in depth, they have to be accurate.I hope to pick up some new tactics as well as share a few with the community.Hope to see you online soon......

Welcome to the forum. I also played paintball for a little bit and let me tell you at first when you need to get everything it is expensive from the start but once you get set up you will be spending way less. You have chosen a good rifle overall. I Think you would be suprised how much you can do to the rifle. I belive from what you said that you will have plenty of stuff for now but you will want a side arm if you ever do any sort of tournamnt for the reason of you don't want to hit a guy 20 ft from you with a sniper rifle. I would suggest you get a mp5 or something or you can also get a gas pistol that runs off of co2, propain, or green gas. The thing with green gas is that is lubricates your gun some every time it fires so you wont have to lubricate it as much. Hope to see you around on the forum. Good luck.
