| JG G36C Contents: 1.First Impressions 2.Externals 3.Build Quality 4.Firing 5.Conclusion 6.Pros/Cons 1.First Impressions When I got home after waiting for what seemed like an eternity I saw the box from Airsoft GI. I brought the box in opened it and freaked out………. It was beautiful. I had heard it was top heavy and the people who say that are holding it wrong. It was just heavy enough to put a look of power in my eye. It definitely needs a sling if you want to fold the stock. Don’t even worry about the switch from the ever popular M4 to a HK gun, it feels very natural (trust me I had to switch). 2.Externals If it didn’t have the orange tip I wouldn’t feel safe carrying it. The one thing appearance wise they could have done is use red paint on the fire selector instead of brown-red colored paint. But that is minor so most people won’t notice it. This gun needs a red dot scope to complete the look. I have noticed one thing kind of weird though JG put the holes in the stock that on a real steel would hold the body pins during disassembly and the pin is too big to fit in it and they put the button in the trigger guard that would release the bolt catch. I wish that button would decompress the spring so it lasts longer. 3.Build Quality This gun feels very sturdy. I know everyone has probably heard this but you really can hold it by the folded stock and feel like it is secure. The plastic is nicely molded with no seams popping out. The charging handle feels flimsy because it is plastic but you can buy a metal one if you feel it is a problem. Mags click together well with no shake. 4.Firing I have not been able to do any serious testing or skirmishing because of weather. I did test it a little bit and although the battery is hard to get in (you have to cut a small tab off to use a 9.6) I got it ready to shoot quicker than even my old spring M4. It definitely has a good ROF and FPS (clocked at 380 by ASGI). It was very impressive. 5.Conclusion All in all I think it is a great gun and I can’t wait to shoot my friends with it. It’s the Mpeg that kicks like a high-end gun. I will call this a 4.5 out of 5 because all cons are small and insignificant. Pros: Price $125 USD Sturdy ROF FPS Locking mags Looks great Friends are afraid of me during wars Cons: Plastic charging handle Friends are afraid of me during wars Battery space Fire selector paint No decompression switch | |

| Nice, Not bad at all, Short, concise and to the point. One minor improvement, could you include Pics with your reviews ? Helps others to form their own impressions and opinions about a Gun, and to support the Information that you provided. | |

| Good review! I agree on the pics thing, I know allot of people have this gun but its always nice to have some pics.
You should do a follow up review after you have used it for awhile.

| I took the gun apart today and noticed some problems. The magwell pin is cheap metal and broke on me. I ordered a new one from asgi. The other problem is that asgi lied and said that the gun had metal bushings but mine had plastic ones | |

| I myself have this gun, and you did a fine job of explaining everything about it. I can't think of any facts you missed. Well done, sir! | |

| It will probably be the same the only difference I foresee is it will have a longer inner barrel. I can't say anything of the optic quality on the built in scope, but I would by it. | |

You may actually have less accuracy because of the longer barrel. The longer the barrel the more power the gun requires to get that bb through. This also means having to upgrade your hop up with a hard bucking and nub to take the higher air pressure and keep the shot consistent. Where as your soft bucking, the groupings would be all over the place because the air tightness of the hop up will not be as great as a hop up with a hard bucking. | |

| The iron sights probally . They are pretty accurate on the Echo 1 verson of this airsoft gun . That is until he replaces the rail then I don't know . If I were him I would buy a scope then buy another weaver rail . | |

| The only problem with G36 iron sights is that they are USELESS for precision shooting because the ghost ring is so big. | |

| I think what im going to do is deal with the iron sights until I have enough money for the G36 top rail with no sights and buy a red dot or an ACOG. | |

| Personally I think that the sites are pretty acurrate then again whenever I use an AEG I normally just hold the trigger down and spread out my shots . Lol . Remeber I am a sniper . But now I do see your problem with the whole over large O ring . Probally one of the best solutions is just to do like you said that you were going to do and just put up with it until you can get a red dot or holographic site . But my buddy is looking a pretty good site to go on his airsoft gun . It is red dot but it favors a holographic site . I will get the name and make of it and let you know it is pretty cheap too . I want to say maybe even somewhere aroung 25-30 dollars . | |

| Personally for a red dot I use this. It has a great durable design and looks awesome on the G36. | |

| Ah it seems to be a pretty good red dot airsoft gun scope . Its light cheap and durable . I would use it on my airsoft gun if it were a Echo 1 or Jg G36c . | |

| very informative review im thinking about buying this gun or im thinking about another one (TSD Sports Series G36c Style Electric Airsoft Rifle)--they look very alike but, the TSD is cheaper and their stats seem to be very similar. Whats the difference? Is it the internals? Thanks | |

| The only advantage to a tsd is the metal hopup unit. I've heard that most of the internals are junk because they basically self destruct. | |
