| www.airsoftgi.comwww.evike.comI am a valid customer to both.. these are my MAIN sites... I have ordered 4 times from Airsoft gi... can't recomend them more, you get free shipping on orders over 100, for both sites. I had one shipping delay with GI... but not there fault, it was because of christmas and UPS couldn't deliver. 4.5/5 Evike, also a great site.. made my 3rd order from them on monday to order my ghillie suit... they ship fast, And deliver to P.A in about 5 days 6 days... However, i do hear alot about them not being good... I have no idea.. I mean i hav had good orders with them in the past so i can recomend them.. Others, maybe not so.. So 4/5 Because the stories I hear.. But still both great sites, nice website layouts, and lots of products to choose from. And don't forget the freeshipping on orders over 100 with the promocode! (Gi does it automaticly now) Any questions, let me know.

| I just made a purchase with both of these retailers. I wasn't pleased with evike.com initially b/c the displayed a tactical vest with MARPAT mesh instead of green, we ordered it and got plain green mesh. That was the only reason I ordered from them. After calling ALL DAY I finally got through. I was treated nice enough, but only offered a refund. I love the vest, but I wish it were marpat. I don't like the idea of spending money on a marpat top and covering it up with green. OOOO well.
I will post more with the completion of my airsoftgi.com order. So far it has been better than fair enough. If only they took so money off of our nearly $400 order lol

| actually MARPAT BDU's under a OD vest looks better than the UTG MARPAT over the BDU's.
the Marines use Cayote Brown/Tan over all their Marpat, that looks pretty good.

| Yeah, Roamer, i have heard alot about them mixing orders, but i can't say it has happened to me.. I have made about 4 orderes through both sites, no problems yet, I WILL SAY THOUGH they do not answer their phones, where as ASGI does, and they replie to emails which evike doesn't always do..
I say go ASGI
if they don't have what you want, you might get lucky like i have been and get good service from evike..
Also, i talked to a guy today who told me airsoft atlanta is very good.

| Sticks, I agree. At first I was dissapointed... but now I like the vest b/c it adds more green to the MARPAT. I like CADPAT better b/c it has more green, the vest over MARPAT seems to remedy this for me Halo004 I have already ordered from both | |

| I really have something horrible to say about airsoftgi.com. I would have to give them a 0/5 and caution anybody from buying from them. I will give you the whole scoop on this later, I want to see if they fix their mistake. Lets just say that they are making me not want to play airsoft anymore. I am TICKED!!! More information to come when I figure out a way to deal with the crap they stuck me with. | |

| Hey Admin, just thought I would let you know that my Airsoft GI rating should be 1/5. It brings the average down but after the trouble they caused they deserve the rating. I must add that I must up my evike rating from 2.5/5 to 3.5/5. On my next order from them they more than fixed the mistake. FREE STUFF! | |

I must add that I must up my evike rating from 2.5/5 to 3.5/5. On my next order from them they more than fixed the mistake. FREE STUFF! I added in both new ratings. I didn't include your previous 0/5 and I had a hard time including the 1/5 simply because I try to stay away from average-killing ratings. Especially with AirsoftGI, who is well-known as a reliable retailer. I totally understand your frustration and you're doing exactly what you should do, which is give a rating based on your experiences. However, with as few ratings as we have right now, an extremely low rating like 0/5 gives an unfair overall rating of the sites... Does that make sense? Hopefully lol. Anyway, THANK YOU for updating your ratings as you have more experiences with the sites. Good thinking... Everyone follow his lead The Administrator

| well once you get some more samples you really should include OUR ratings. Simple fact of the matter is they say on their website they test guns before they ship and they shipped a broken gun and refused to fix their mistake. I am trying to be unbiased, but I just don't see a logical explanation for their side other than I agreed to their terms of no returns when I purchased from them. Even then, I really think they should have given me another gun when they shipped me a gun with a broken fuse and after I blew 3 more fused up before firing a shot.
Airsoftgi seems to me to be at best a good gambling situation. Sure there are a great overwhelming number of people who are very satisfied with them... but I don't see me risking this again. They shipped a broken gun and refused to do anything about it.
ADMIN, if you wish to keep your poll that way it is your decision and I support it and agree with your rationale. I would delete my post here too though. I have said my peace.

| I give evike a 5/5 because they have fixed their mistake. I love my products from them and the shipping and prices were very competitive. The customer service representative started the conversation of with a "I am sorry, you can return it and we will pay the shipping, but let me see what I can do otherwise to fix this." Very pleased with them now because in our latest order they apologized again for their mistakes the last time. I will buy from them again. | |

| Maybe this will answer your question and maybe not, but here goes. If anyone of my pals bought a gun from some place and the gun turned out to be crap and the retailer refused to fix their mistake, I can tell you for a fact I would not order from them again. Even if I had never ordered from them personally. This almost happened with precision airsoft with one of my friends, but it turned out okay in the end. | |

My only reason for asking who actually got the messed up order is because in my "Online Store's Overall Reviews" thread I ask "Please add your own experience with retailers." By this I meant that I want your own experiences, not that of someone you know or have seen before online. This is to prevent 2+ negative reviews about the same bad experience. For example, in your case, Ace posted the message under that thread giving Airsoft GI a 0/5, when HIS own order was technically fine - it was your's that was messed up. Then, let's say that you get on and post a second 0/5 for that same exact messed up order that Ace posted. That's two 0/5s for the same messed up order. This results in double negative feedback where it's undeserved. I hope that makes sense lol.

| I would say that both ratings are relevant in this case. The goods were delivered to my house and I as well as Roamer dealt with their customer service. He called the first time and talked for 1/2 hr. Then while he was trying to email echo 1 and airsoftgi I called. It took both of us combined and over 2 hours to get absolutely nowhere with their customer service. That is why I have my rating at what I do. If they aren't going to help him with, a problem, what about me if I had one if the future? Does that make the ratings seem more logical? | |

| point taken, I agree. Sorry for getting a little snippy there. It is just I really think that my experience with them has spoiled airsoftgi.com for a couple of my buddies and I think for good reason.
I do agree with you there. Sorry, I am just so mad I got stuck with a broken gun. I guess I took it personal. What you said makes sense. No matter our own personal feelings on a retailer we should give our forum readers the best idea of the OVERALL opinion of a given retailer that we can.
My apologies, I agree. | |

My apologies, I agree. Thanks for being so understanding guys. No need to apologize though. We both made our points And I TOTALLY agree with your frustration. I know how bad it feels to get a product that's different than what you ordered, then having to send it back and wait to get what you actually ordered. I couldn't imagine getting a broken item, then calling to have the company you bought it from fix the problem and them telling you NO! Ridiculous, I know. I'd be upset too. There's every reason for you two to be upset, my comments were just along the lines of what's best for that specific rating thread, that's all. Problem solved. Thanks guys

Due Huat, welcome to the forums! If you don't mind, please post this question in a new topic under the "Which Gun?" forum that you can find on the home page. This thread is about Airsoft GI and Evike - not Echo 1s. Also, take a look around throughout the various threads, there is a ton of information on here about the Echo 1 guns (they come highly recommend, by the way). Thanks and again, welcome to the forums!
