Mesh Goggles Empty
PostSubject: Mesh Goggles   Mesh Goggles Icon_minitimeSun Feb 08, 2009 6:28 pm

I have been having problems with my normal goggles and I have been thinking about switching over to the wire mesh kind, becasue they can't fog. But I have always wondered if they are completly safe because they do have holes in them, and I just wanted to hear from anybody that has used them before just for some reasurrance that a bb will not come through the holes and hit me in the eye. So any comments from anybody with expiernce with mesh goggles will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I don't reccomend wearing them when playing with bio bb's.

+ you can apply anti foggers.

because bio bb's have less density so they shatter easily especially on mesh.

yup, I also heard other nightmares where even non-bios shot from something the nature of a DMR or Sniper rifle have actually punctured the mesh

it slowed the bb down, but rendered the goggles unusable. If I were you I would just get your regular facemask and some anti-fogger.

Also I found out that any alcohol product will work as a great anti-fogger.

Rubbing alcohol should work just fine.

i have also heard of using shampoo. you put a thin layer on with a micro fiber cloth the day b4 you play and the moisture ''melts'' the shampoo instead of fogging up your mask
