| Its the OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer, aka the plant that makes/assembles their parts) for STAR, they figured out that they could make some more money by operating in the US.
Basically its STAR, but with a lower price tag. Never was a fan of STAR products. If TM was out of business it would be VFC/CA for me.

| Thanks Sticks, thats sorta the background info I was looking for. In your opinion, What is wrong with STAR products? I personally have never had any experience with them. | |

| Ive only seen their SAW's which are plastic on the outside. The guy didn't spend the extra $100 for the CA, and had the gun in there every other week. I don't know what he ran it at, but I just remember when I was interning he asked for stock parts.
I would consider one of their G36's(their conversions are great!), but if it was between VFC and STAR for an M series VFC would be for me!

| I have to agree with Sticks,
VFC would definitely be my choice over STAR, hands down !!! The only thing that STAR has going for it is its Fast Spring Change system, 1 screw, weak spring out, new spring in !!! | |

| Yeah Semi-Necro Post! But as a word of advice I would stay away from ARES. Their externals have amazing quality but their internals are horrible. It just about disinagrates in your hands if you try to field it. | |
