Well I have a Field and stream Gor Tex one. Its $50 and when I wear it it keeps my head and shoulders dry. Its a camo pattern though.

There pretty much just for looks but they can help you in some situations by adding additional cover. Look at it this way its a lot better then not wearing a bonnie. This is where I got my Amry Ranger jacket from I had a little trouble with shipping but they happily helped me and reduced the cost becuase of me having to wait longer than expected for it.
