| Hello all my name is Zack . im 16. i live in Wisconsin and Ive been playing airosft for a couple of years now. I have recently started training a team which guns include:
Teammates guns: A SAW (no clue what brand)
CYMA Ak-74
2 M4 Stags
UTG M324 SNIPER
A MP5 ( ALSO NO CLUE WHAT BRAND)
My Gun:
JG AK-47 RIS
(more people to come)
We have kinda decided on a name (still a work in progress) which is BackYard elites. Like i have said we have just started a team and a practicing team excercises (usually turning into a skrimish because the excersises are called "gay" by" two of my team members. We have yet to go to any big airsoft events but we are planning a trip to go to one in the summer, hence the training. I am in no way pro at airsoft but i have my personal experiences from playing, online, and just plain common scence. I enjoy beginning an assult person but like to do many other things. I like the my ak very much and it suits the way i fight. I am open to any advice on anything and i hope i can learn and get some helpful advice from some other more experienced airsofters.
Hope to hear from you soon

| Welcome to the Forums Flash.
The best way to "train" is to just get out to field that enforces regulation according to local OP rules. In the off chance, I bet you can find teams willing to help train teams for better competition.

| Thanks ill have to look into that. but while i have your ear maybe you can help me with this delema.
We usually play many, many skrimishs and we follow the usual rules...but (here is the thing that has been giving me the much trouble, and it annoys the heck out of me) heres the problem whenever i go againts these two kids the one with the M4's they get hit and don't go out because they think there to good to get out fast. The only way they usually go out is if they abviously get sprayed and people see, or if they got hit in a place that makes noise. the honesty is very low for them. I admit not all the time people go out when they got hit but these guys take it to an extreme. Anyway i can fix that?
Note: these people have the kind of personality where they think their so good, and don't want to go out.

| Honestly those are the people who should not be playing airsoft, I would kick them off the team before they make a name as you guys being the biggest cheaters in airsoft.

| Its not so much of me wanting to kick them off its more i want to put them stright. Another thing is my team is kinda small and there my friends als ogood airsofters i just need to get them out of the " I AM Don't use the Lord's name in vain. OF ALL THAT IS AROUND ME" stage. | |

| Alright, well you could do some team building exercises. I would also explicitly tell them that if they do not call their hits at a big game on field turf, they are off the team. So they better start carrying a dead rag.
You count your hits and go to respawn, its part of the game.
But not only give them the hellfire and brimstone, also say that it will improve their skill in maintaining cover because the mental set will be NOT GET HIT, as opposed to ENGAGE AT ALL COST.

| Good advice,
they just don't want to follow rules.
Also, do you think it would be a good idea to break up into small teams and do exercises like (a few in off the top of my head ive been thinking about):
Have Teams have different objectives like 1 team has to capture, while one has to kill them etc.
Limited bb's for people
stealth games
Games where they can only get kills if their in prone or couched
Would you agree with any of these ideas or have any of your own?

| No if your team is small don't break up roles just yet. Its better to find where people exceed and fail. This will also determine exercises later on.
As for your rule breakers, just keep a banhammer ready. lol

| Well in reality, you need to work out the "they just don't want to follow rules" part before you do anything. Airsoft is all about honor and "following the rules". If they refuse to do so, they are not worth having as teamates. Cheating at an op is the best way to get your team kicked out and create a bad name for yourselves. In my opinion, you need to rethink your your situation. Maybe creating a team with some of these guys was a mistake. So, take your honorable comrades and create a completely different team. Make honor, respect, and following the rules the FIRST priority, ability second, and team size third. Those are my only thoughts really. To be completely blunt: Ditch the cheaters. | |

| Ok i think i should be blunt too. I don't want to contradict you Durkee i like ur advice but the thing is that they know there cheating also they know what the rules are they just don't want to follow them. Not the whole team is like this only them and i think they can stop and i don't want to drop them because they are my close friends and they helped me get into airsoft. Pretty much it comes down to them wanting to play serious or not. | |

| I see...hmmm...I think you should make a seperate thread for your question, this section is meant solely for introducing yourself. You'll probably get more responses that way too. Once you make a new thread, I'll be sure to give some more feedback. | |

| well just explain if they want to play serious they will need to create and follow rules. Are you team leader or just part of the group, because I would quit and make my own group if I had any of this. | |
