| Nope you would then have the option to get a longer barrel like for your M4 if you could get a M16 lenght barrel and the silencer would cover the inner barrel. Increasing your accuracy and the silencer would protect your inner barrel. | |

| Ok basically if you got a silencer you could get a longer inner barrel becuase the silencer would act as an outer barrel. | |

| Actually, before you even consider buying a silencer for your gun, find out if it is legal to have one in your state.
Yes, it is for Airsoft, Yes, it is a replica, Yes, it can´t be used on a real gun,
But some states don´t take any of the above into consideration, Silencers are Illegal !! end of stoy, end of discussion, depending on where you live.

| Silencers are Illegal in MA. !!!
Unless you have a Class 3 weapons licence.
If you want to double check, talk to your local Police about the legality of AS Silencers, they see no difference between AS and Real Steel, the Arguement will be, It could be Made to work on the real thing.
The following states allow Silencers,
AL, AR, AK, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, KS, LA, ME, MD, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, MO, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, and WY

| To add some Icing in the cake, MA. starts to prosecute violaters of weapon laws at the age of 14 ! Violaters will be Prosecuted as Adults and can receive the Adult Punishment !! Depending on the Violation, Punnishment starts with, 3 Years Confinement, up to 5000 $ Fine or Both. MA. has some of the strictest Weapons Laws in the U.S., hows this for size...... Your driving with your Buddies in a car ( 1 Driver, 4 Passengers ), car is stopped by the Police, searched, and an Illegal Weapon or Weapon part is found. MA. dosn´t play around with trying to figure out who the weapon or part belongs to, All Parties inside the auto are charged with Illegal Possesion/Transport of a Weapon. Pays to have good friends !!! - Quote :

Are you willing to bet your time, Money and AS Gun on it ?? That every single Police Officer will let it go ???

| I hate MA...... Im pretty cool with some of the cops in my town a kid I work with does dispatch for them so they always come into the store. I also know a bunch of kids that own .22s, hunting rifles, A Thompson, a Ghewer, M1 Garand, and Shotguns the youngest kid is 13. Yes they all are working replicas. | |
