| Well, I have been conditioning for that day for months now, and I think I will get through it. needless to say, I will spend all of the following day simply recovering. | |

| Well guess what everyone. I broke my toe yesterday, exactly a week before testing. Now, I can't test, and I have to wait till august. Honestly, this is a big let down to me. I guess I'm just venting, but I had done SO much preparing and was SO ready that this seems like a major blow. Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk....... | |

| Hey Jarhead, you should really look into studying Krav Maga. Simple takedowns, grapples, and throws are the mainpoints of the style. It really has almost 0 learning curve. The basis of Krav is to use the body's natural and fluent motions in defense and attack. Basically, it turns simple, instinctive motions and responses into weapons.
KM is, in my opinion, the most effective fighting and defense style for modern scenarios. It's devoloped by the Israeli military. Look into it.
There are alot of videos and informational guides out there (google!!!), unfortunately, the majority of them are Israeli made. Just think about it.
Same goes for you Storm. | |

| yeah, i've looked into it, Durkee. i've read a couple books about it and watched a tv show on the military channel about KM. it looks sweet, and my cousin Brad can also do Krav Maga. he'll probably use it on me this summer, so i'll learn! and i can't learn now because i have a lot going on at home right now. i used to do kickboxing, until i knocked some dude's teeth out (on accident, i swear!) and got kicked out. you'd think that if it's a kickboxing place where they fight and spar and all that, you're supposed to beat one another, but that would make too much sense. | |
