| As some of you probably know ive been looking at semi-auto snipers. Recently ive looked at a lot of guns from an M700 to an SR-25. Ive got my hands tied and now I can't decide on what type of gun and what company to buy from. Ive looked at the A&K SR-25 and now im looking at a G&G M14. If you any ideas for me post them im open to any gun as long as it isent a cheap gun thats going to break in 2 months. For a price im looking at a gun thats under $260 and I can get a bipod, scope, scope mount and BBs up to $330. It dosent have to have a battery and charger included but I can't go above $330. Im open to everything.......

| JG makes a mean G36K (G36 but has a long barrel and built in bipod). You can buy it with a site built into it that has 3X zoom but no rails or you can buy it with iron sights and rails. Also you can buy an Sl8/Sl9 clip thats smaller to snipe or buy an Sl8 or 9. | |

| I say make your own build! Its not that hard and it will perform much better than any stock gun(if you know what you are doing). A good start would be an AEG that can accept a bore up kit, this allows you to maximize FPS with a low stress spring(or lower stress spring). Some good choices, http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_89&products_id=1325http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_89&products_id=1314http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_89&products_id=1601http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_89&products_id=1280Then you could go in a couple of directions, what is the FPS range that you want? I would go no less than 370FPS. This means you are probably going to need a new spring, http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=39_50&products_id=158http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=39_50&products_id=539And a good spring guide to stand the new stress of the spring. http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=39_50&products_id=156If you want higher FPS than this I would try running a bore up kit, then go from there as far as greater FPS goes. http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/index.php?cPath=39_46Depending on how much money you have left I would polish your barrel to save $$, then see how much you have left. If you have enough I would go with a MadBull V2 TB barrel. http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=39_45&products_id=1127And don't forget a good hop-up bucking, http://www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=39_53&products_id=182 Thats just my recommendation. You can modify that however you want. The other things I would get after you achieve the FPS you want would be a new Motor, and a wiring change. Some would argue that you should do this first. As far as BB's go, I would not use any BB that weights under .25G. Remember you want accuracy, not power in a SASS. Unless you are looking to replicate a gun then I would go with a scope from wally world or something like that. They will do the job just fine, and they are really cheap. I wouldn't worry about a Bi-Pod, most of the time you wont use it is another $70 you can save to put twords internals. If you find that you would want one late then go for it, but its not a necessity. sticks | |
